Delicately the endoplasmatic membrane rests on the cell core, while protein vesicles rise into the cellular sky.

The present collection of paintings, created over recent years, is titled A Journey through Evolution. It comprises works inspired by cellular biology and the processes of evolution.

The work unfolds as a narrative through the course of evolution - from design to thoughts on transcendence.

Each painting serves as a stepping stone along this path. It is therefore not an exhibition of individual works. Rather, the work itself emerges from the interplay of the paintings within the narrative they collectively unfold. Only as elements of this larger whole do the individual paintings acquire their full significance.

The aim of the work extends beyond the artistic representation of scientific imagery or the illustration of scientific concepts. Rather than communicating discrete pieces of knowledge, it seeks to evoke an intuitive sense of a realm of inquiry that is ordinarily the domain of science.

Science Art appears in varied art forms and styles:

 

Bio-luminescent installations, immersive visualizations of medical data, and sonifications of cellular or environmental processes translate abstract scientific information into perceptible experience.

These works allow audiences to encounter rhythms, flows, and structures underlying life without requiring technical scientific knowledge.

 

Unfortunately this understanding of Science Art has opened the door to much banality labelled as art.
